Best sandwiches west of New York and I know I'm from Chicago. Ok ok Portillos Italian beef is best sandwich west of New York but I don't consider it a deli sandwich.

By far the best place to get a fantastic Italian sub. The place isn't fancy, but the food is delicious. Service is pretty fast and the staff are quite friendly.

Anyone who says the food here is good are being nice probably because they like the people behind the counter which is understandable. Asked to add onion on a chicken salad sandwich and got more onion than chicken. Pastrami is almost tasteless. Expensive for what you get.

Best sandwich shop in SW Florida. Hands down a must-go on Marco Island. Generous portions, reasonable prices, and great taste.

My husband and I frequent Big Al's and we absolutely love it! The food is always super yummy and the staff is exceptional, they are the nicest group of people. Definitely stop in and say hello:)

It was superb as always and has been over the years everybody's great there Candy Jackie they all take care of us.the food really can't be beat it's always the freshest and done just like you like it. plus they remember what you liked and didn't like before without having to tell them like my burnt toast that I love!

Best sub shop on Marco Island, gourmet style, great prices. Freshly made, Subway subs is totally generic compared to the quality of meats used at this place. I am hooked on their Reuben. I give it 5 stars because that is highest rating you can do, but it's definitely a 10 in my book of great eats.

The absolute worst costumer service I've ever experienced, specially Candy the lady taking orders. To top it off their sandwiches are over priced and they do not taste good at all!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Publix to get your subs.

This place is unassuming, but the sandwiches are "The way your mom used to make" good. However, the best part about it is the people. They treat their customers like old friends

Oh my goodness, are you going out boating or tiger tailing it to the beach without me? Well ya GOTTA get some subs from here folks, those margaritas and daiquiris aren't going to soak themselves up. Well, scientifically they will, but you're going to want one of these delicious subs to assist you in that process. I pity the fool who doesn't bring snacks to the beach.

For someone like me who lives on the island .This place is terrible, customer service humiliated and embarrassed me in front of the entire store because I mistaken celery for onion. I'm highly allergic to onion, so when I bit into my chicken salad sandwich. I thought I tasted the sour taste of onion, (which could possibly kill me so I'm cautious) so I peel back the wrap and see small squares which appear to look like onion. I get up and speak to the women and show them ,(what looks like onion.) They harassed me started making fun because its celery saying things like "you want extra onion"? laughing making jokes being ridiculously rude . the customer service was appalling and absurd and will never return for any reason I wouldn't recommend this place. There attitudes and persona land them a 1 star and 1 less customer.

Best chicken salad ever.

This place is great for a lunch or just a snack. Mostly sandwiches and wraps, and bottomless sort drinks. Everything is super fresh, on top of that it's got to be the most reasonably priced restaurant on Marco Island. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

While recently vacationing in Marco Island, we ordered subs to bring out on the boat. I called ahead at 9:30 for an 11:00 pickup for 7 large subs. I person who took my order was very nice and efficient and even offered to cut and wrap in smaller sizes to fit better in a cooler. When we showed up we waited in line and were surprised how busy they were this early in the day. We paid and had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the rest of our sandwich to be made which made us late for our boat launch. The sandwiches were delicious and we ate them all over the next few days. Great quality ingredients and very friendly service. I would highly recommend calling ahead as early as possible if you have time constraints.I will definitely go back to Big Al’s next year.
